Welcome to The Lost Weekend, a title John Lennon used to describe the 18 month period where him and Yoko mutually split so he could move from New York to LA to have an affair with his assistant. It was marked by lots of debauchery and Brandy Alexanders ("that's brandy and milk, folks"). But musically he was prolific, creating 3 albums, producing 2, and recording for the last time with Paul. It was a time of intense creativity and questionable behaviour, where he reached personal lows & artistic highs.
The Lost Weekend is my hideout; it’s somewhere that embraces reinvention and cultivates beauty in imperfection and deeper meaning. It’s a place for my jewellery, art, collections, writing, and whatever else I make that brings me back when I'm feeling lost.
